WASHINGTON TEACHERS' UNION FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST AMERICAN FEDERATION OF TEACHERS

The Washington Teachers Union filed a lawsuit in federal court against its affiliated national union, the American Federation of Teachers.  The WTU is seeking to stop AFT from undermining the principles of union democracy and autonomy that are the cornerstone of both organizations.
